ApplicationThe present climate of accountability means that today's retailers require more than just the quality product from their contract manufacturers. The requirement is now for an auditable paper trail for every manufacturing operation - including CIP. In addition, manufacturers are striving to make monetary savings on resources such as optimising existing processes and plant operations. CIPCheck MIS is designed to deliver all of this in a single user friendly and modular software package. The CIPCheck MIS logs all data associated with the CIP operation delivering reports detailing all aspects of the clean. Each stage of a clean may be validated by allocating upper and lower limits for important parameters such as: Flow, Temperature and Conductivity.  PrincipleThe CIPCheck MIS system is loaded on a standard PC which stores the collected date and provided the user interface. OPC communications are used to transfer the important information from the CIP control system which may be implemented with almost any PLC type using Ethernet connectivity. All data is stored in a specially configured SQL database allowing for easy query and access to provide alarms, trends, reports and indicators.
