Low Maintenance Level Sensors Help To Improve The Quality of Baby Food Made In Russia

CT Holledge pneumatic level sensors from Canongate Technology Ltd have been chosen by a leading UK process engineering company, for several projects it is currently working on in Russia. These projects are concerned with the manufacture of baby food and Holledge sensors have been selected for their low maintenance requirements.

The CT Holledge systems proved to be easy to understand, install and maintain. Furthermore, due to the arduous and varied process conditions in which these systems would have to operate, it was decided that CT Holledge pneumatic transmitters would be more suitable than electronic pressure transmitters. A spokesman for the company said "These features were all crucial, particularly when the plants can be several hundred, or indeed several thousands, of miles away from their nearest service support centre".
