8 million Krone Invested in Prodac SystemCoca-Cola Drycker Sverige A.B. recently became the latest world-class company to purchase a Prodac packaging line execution system. The company invested in the Canongate System, which will allow it to monitor a brand-new-six-line production facility at Jordboro, some 20km south of Stockholm. The new facility includes the most advanced PET sorting line in Europe. Canongate's Prodac software will enable performance on the PET line and the five other production lines to be monitored effectively. Coca-Cola Drycker Sverige will also use the standard production and down-time monitoring functions that form the core of any Prodac system. To cover its quality control function, Coca-Cola Drycker Sverige intends to use the Prodac software to design comprehensive laboratory forms for correlation between manual and automatic in-line samples. This project was split into two phases. The completed first phase involved the installation of the software modules by Canongate engineers to enable manual entry of production and relevant data. The second phase will link the software to the automatic signals available from all the plant machines. Commenting on the order, Canongate's Prodac Product Manager, Dave Nuttall, said "We are delighted to be associated with Coca-Cola Drycker Sverige. This is a very large installation and we look forward to working closely with Coca-Cola now and in the future. We would like to welcome this Swedish company to the growing number of businesses worldwide that use and benefit from the Prodac system. We expect the system to be the tool that will maintain and improve the company's performance". |
